Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

At Portugal, Me & You, we want your experience to be unforgettable. We understand that unforeseen events happen and travel plans can change. Therefore, we have created a cancellation and rescheduling policy designed to balance your flexibility with respect for our local guides' work and the operational costs involved.

1. General Cancellation Rule

  • Cancellation with partial refund (50%): Regardless of the purchase date, if you need to cancel your booking, we offer a 50% refund of the total amount paid, provided the request is made at least 24 hours before the tour's start time.
  • Cancellation without refund: Cancellations requested less than 24 hours before the start time of the experience will not be refunded. This timeframe is strictly necessary to cover operational costs and the blocking of your guide's schedule.

2. Rescheduling (Date or Time Change) Rescheduling is always subject to availability on the new desired date and follows the rules below:

  • Free rescheduling: Change requests made at least 14 days in advance of the original tour date can be made at no extra cost.
  • Rescheduling with less than 14 days (up to 24 hours before): If you need to reschedule with less than 14 days, but at least 24 hours before the start of the tour:


Tours with tickets: A fee equivalent to the value of the ticket(s) already purchased for the attraction will be charged, as these are non-refundable.

Tours without tickets: If your tour does not include tickets, rescheduling can be done at no additional cost.

(Note: We do not accept rescheduling requests less than 24 hours before the tour's start time).

3. Lateness and No-shows

  • We recommend arriving at the meeting point 15 minutes in advance.
  • Our tours start on time out of respect for all participants. We have a delay tolerance of 10 minutes.
  • Failure to appear at the agreed location and time (no-show) or delays exceeding the tolerance will be considered a last-minute cancellation and will not entitle you to a refund or rescheduling.

4. Cancellations by Portugal, Me & You

  • Our tours run rain or shine (as long as it is safe). However, if our team needs to cancel the tour due to extreme weather conditions, unexpected closure of attractions, or force majeure, you will have two options:

    Reschedule to a new date of your choice (subject to availability).

    Receive a full refund (100%) of the amount paid.

5. How to Request a Cancellation or Rescheduling To cancel or change your booking, please send an email immediately to info@portugalmeandyou.com, providing your order number (Order #) and the name registered on the booking. The email receipt time will be used to calculate the notice period required in the rules above.
